I made these "tree people" as a surreal visual element in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Without a specific narrative for their existence, these assets have been peppered through the playspaces to make the player question what is real and to be rewarded for keeping a keen eye. I chose posed statue models with interesting silhouettes, and filled their forms using SpeedTree. Textures and shaders are shared with native bushes to the Pale Heart and the City Tower.
