The Final Shape Statues

For The Final Shape, we needed a set of modular assets that could be set to different materials and be recombined in horrifying and unexpected ways. The set needed to have a lot of versatility in terms of base models and stages of "indexing", or conforming to The Final Shape set forth by The Witness. The creation method involved using a "slice rig" that was supplied simplified versions of existing character and prop poses. Shown here are some explorations of the many shape combinations needed to sell the idea of a progression of indexing stages, as well as final versions seen in the Salvation's Edge Raid.
